Bio-ship Paladin, known in Japan as Space Battleship Gomora (宇宙戦艦ゴモラ?), is a 1990 horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game. It was later ported to the Sega Mega Drive. While the game is essentially a standard horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up, it has an innovation that makes it unique in the genre. The player flies a spaceship (specifically, a bioship) which has the standard forward guns to be found in all horizontal scrollers, but it also possesses a weapon that can be manually targeted with a crosshair, in the same manner as in the game Missile Command. This allows the player to fire in any direction with pinpoint accuracy, and adds an extra level of strategy to the game. The game saw an almost arcade perfect port on the Sega Mega Drive. What few changes there were actually enhanced the look of the game such as added parallax scrolling backgrounds in level 2.

Blades of Vengeance is a fantasy platform game for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It was developed by Beam Software and published by Electronic Arts. In this game, one or two players can select one of three warriors to fight through a large range of platform levels in order to stop a war-monger known only as Manax, The Dark Lady.

Blaster Master 2 is a video game developed by Software Creations and published exclusively in North America by Sunsoft of America for the Sega Genesis on March 15, 1993. The game is a sequel to the original Blaster Master originally published for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was published specifically for the North American market following the success of the first NES game in the same region, and later exported into Europe. The staff of the original Japanese version of Blaster Master, titled Chô Wakusei Senki Metafight, had nothing to do with Blaster Master 2, and Sunsoft Japan did not release BM2 in Japan.

Blockout is a puzzle video game, published in 1989 by California Dreams, developed in Poland by Aleksander Ustaszewski and Mirosław Zabłocki. The game is the logical extension of Tetris into the third dimension. In regular Tetris, the player manipulates a set of tetrominoes which fall into a two-dimensional pit (seen from the side). The aim is to solve a real-time packing problem by forming complete rows, which then disappear and score points. Poor play leads to incomplete rows, caused by inefficient arrangements of tiles; these rows do not disappear, giving the player progressively less space and less time to play subsequent pieces. Similarly, in Blockout, the player manipulates a set of polycubes which fall into a three-dimensional pit (seen from above; the pieces appear in the foreground and fall away). The pieces can be rotated around all three axes, and moved horizontally and vertically. The aim is to form complete layers.

Blue Almanac (ブルーアルマナック, Burū Arumanakku?) is a futuristic role-playing video game game for the Sega Mega Drive. It was released only for Japan in June 22, 1991 and had a US release as Star Odyssey planned and advertised but it was cancelled at the time. North American publisher Super Fighter Team acquired the official rights to publish an English version of the game with alterations to the translation and the programming, based on an as-for-yet unreleased prototype of the US version, and released it exactly twenty years after the game's original release as Star Odyssey.
