Strider, released in Japan as Strider Hiryū (ストライダー飛竜?) is a 1989 side-scrolling platform game released for the CP System arcade hardware by Capcom. It became one of Capcom's early hits before Street Fighter II, revered for its innovative gameplay, diverse and unique music, and multilingual voice clips during cutscenes (presented in English, Japanese, Mandarin and Russian).

Strider II (released in North America under the title of Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns), is a side-scrolling platform game published by U.S. Gold (under license from Capcom USA) and originally released for various computer platforms in 1990. It is a European-developed sequel to Capcom's arcade game Strider, which U.S. Gold previously ported to home computers in Europe. The game was developed by Tiertex, as with Human Killing Machine, the U.S. Gold sequel to Street Fighter. Capcom later developed their own sequel in 1999, titled Strider 2 for the arcades and PlayStation, which ignores U.S. Gold's version of Strider II.

Sub-Terrania is a multidirectional shooter developed by Zyrinx and published by Scavenger, Inc.. The game was originally released in Europe for the Sega Mega Drive and in North America for the Sega Genesis.

Sunset Riders (サンセットライダーズ Sansetto Raidāzu?) is a side-scrolling run-and-gun style shoot-'em-up released by Konami as a coin-operated video game in 1991. The game is set during the American Old West, where the player takes control of a bounty hunter who is seeking the rewards offered for various criminals. The coin-op version was released in two variants: a 2-player version and a 4-player version. Home versions of Sunset Riders were released for the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) in 1992 and for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993.

Super Battleship is a naval simulator video game released for the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo in 1993. The game is strictly single-player and is primarily a strategy game with some real-time elements. It is based on the Battleship board game by the Milton Bradley Company.

Super Fantasy Zone (スーパーファンタジーゾーン, Sūpā Fantajī Zōn?) was the last addition to the Fantasy Zone series of video games and was released for the Sega Mega Drive. It was originally released in Europe and Japan but, for unknown reasons, not in the United States. However, North America would eventually receive the game in the form of a Virtual Console release on July 21, 2008. The game is a free moving shoot 'em up, like its side-scrolling predecessors, and essentially has the same core gameplay as the arcade original. The soundtrack to the game was composed by Naoki Kodaka, but also features themes from the original Fantasy Zone game composed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi.

Super Hang-On (スーパーハングオン?) is a 1987 motorcycle racing arcade game by Sega, and the sequel to the acclaimed Hang-On. A version of this game, in the full simulated-motorcycle cabinet used by the original Hang-On, was released in 1991 as Limited Edition Hang-On. It was released for the Sega Mega Drive, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Macintosh, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 in 1989. Super Hang-On was also released for the Sharp X68000 computer in Japan. The game also appeared on several Mega Drive compilations, namely Mega Games I (bundled with the console as Mega Drive Magnum Set), and Sega Genesis Six Pack. The arcade version was released on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan on September 14, 2010 and later for the other regions on May 3, 2012. A stereoscopic 3D version was released for the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on March 27, 2013 and in North America and Europe on November 28, 2013.
