Ecco: The Tides of Time is the second game in the Ecco the Dolphin series is the sequel to Ecco the Dolphin for the Sega Mega Drive, Game Gear, and Mega-CD, developed by Novotrade International and released in 1994. The Tides of Time continued the story of the first game and featured similar gameplay with a few new additions.

ESPN SpeedWorld (formally Auto Racing '79-'86) is the name of a former television series broadcast on ESPN from 1979–2006. The program that was based primarily based around NASCAR, CART, IMSA, Formula One, NHRA, and IHRA. The theme music is a based on the piano interlude from "18th Avenue (Kansas City Nightmare)" by Cat Stevens.

ESPN Sunday Night Football was the ESPN cable network's weekly television broadcasts of Sunday evening National Football League (NFL) games. The first ESPN Sunday night broadcast occurred on November 8, 1987, while the last one aired on January 1, 2006. Former NFL Commissioner (1989-2005) Paul Tagliabue credits ESPN with raising the "profile" of the league, from turning "a potential six- or seven-hour television experience into a twelve-hour television experience."

Fastest 1 (ファステスト・ワン?) is a Sega Mega Drive racing game video game released in 1991 exclusively in Japan. During the release of this video game, other Formula One video games like Super Monaco GP had caused a general increase of demand for Formula One video games. While most of those games were poor simulations of the actual races themselves, Fastest One provided to be the most realistic video game of the era. The game is based on Formula One racing and features team and driver names that are similar to the real life namesakes. A potential choice of 18 playable vehicles can be used in every mode provided by the game itself. Six vehicles in the game uses Ford engines; displaying American ingenuity during the 1990 Formula One season. The language of the game is completely in the English language. In fact, most of the Formula One drivers who participated in the 1990 Formula One season are present, with slightly altered names (e.g. Satoru Nakajima makes an appearance as "S. Inakajima".)

Gaiares (ガイアレス, Gaiaresu?) is a Japanese style side-scrolling space shooter released in 1990 by Telenet Japan for the Sega Mega Drive System and subsequently for its American counterpart, the Sega Genesis. Gaiares came into the video game scene at a time when this genre was immensely popular; competition was fierce with franchised games like Thunder Force II, R-Type and Gradius, so it had to distinguish itself with a unique weapon system. The name is supposedly a combination of Gaia (mother Earth) and a shortened form/abbreviation of the word "rescue" (Res), which is the main objective of the battle taking place within the storyline.
