World Championship Soccer (ワールドカップサッカー), known in Europe as World Cup Italia '90, was one of the first games released for the Sega Genesis system in North America in September 1989. It is a soccer game based on the 1990 FIFA World Cup tournament in Italy, featuring 24 different playable countries. It's the first World Cup official licensed franchise game based on FIFA World Cup featuring official logo and the mascot. The game was released in 1989. It was ported by Elite Systems for DOS, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum. The game was later renamed to Sega Soccer on the Mega 6 compilation cartridge on the Mega Drive removing the Virgin Mastertronic credits

World Trophy Soccer is the name given to two distinct video games: World Trophy Soccer, a 1989 game by Virgin Mastertronic later reworked as World Cup Soccer: Italia '90. World Trophy Soccer, a 1992 game for the Sega Genesis, a reworking of European Club Soccer.

WWF Super WrestleMania is a multiplatform wrestling video game based on the World Wrestling Federation, released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. Two other 16-bit WWF games, WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Raw, were released which retained the "tug-of-war" style grappling system, where moves are performed by locking up and out-tapping the other player or the computer to execute a move.

The game is called Yogi Bear in Japan, Yogi Bear's Cartoon Caper for the European Super NES version, and Yogi Bear: Cartoon Capers for the European Sega Mega Drive version.

Zoop is a puzzle game developed by Hookstone Productions and published by Viacom New Media. Some of its rules resemble those of the arcade game Plotting (known in some territories as Flipull), but unlike Plotting, Zoop runs in real time. Official Zoop games have been released for Game Boy, Game Gear, Mega Drive/Genesis, SNES, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, DOS, and Macintosh. To spark interest for the game, Blockbuster offered the game as a free rental for the Super Nintendo for a limited time.
