Red Hot Sonic 2 is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (16-bit) by redhotsonic. It was his first hack.Started in early 2004, this hack featured two fan characters: Red Hot Sonic and Jet Pack Tails. Several versions were released (0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, and then finally 0.90). The hack started off bad (especially the palettes) but became more developed over time.

Instead of using standard turn-based battles, fights are in a similar format to 2D fighting games.

It was re-released for the Wii Virtual Console in 2009 and on both the PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade download services in 2012.

Revolution X is an arcade rail shooter game developed and published by Midway in 1994, featuring the rock band Aerosmith. It features gameplay similar to Midway's earlier Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In the game, players battle the oppressive New Order Nation regime and their leader Helga, who have abducted Aerosmith. Players use a mounted gun to control onscreen crosshairs and shoot enemies using compact discs. The members of Aerosmith are hidden throughout the game's international locales and must be found in order to receive the game's true ending. The game was ported to various consoles as well as DOS computers. These ports were negatively received and reportedly dissuaded Midway from making a sequel.

Rings of Power is an isometric role-playing video game released on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis The game was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Electronic Arts. The player takes on the role of a young sorcerer whose quest is to collect 11 Rings of Power and use them to remake the Rod of Creation to defeat the evil god, Void, and bring about the fabled Golden Age. It never made for PC (according to Naughty Dog's page, it actually was designed for PC until EA decided at the time that Genesis games made more money).
